Dakar, by José Abrantes

José Maria da Piedade de Lancastre e Tavora (also known as José Abrantes or Kundry) started his career in the Portuguese periodical 'O Farol' in the late 1970s. In the mid-80s, his work was published in Girassol and Jornal do Sélix. In 1989 his work was published in 'Pim Pam Pum!' He produced his first series, about the philosophical cat 'Horus' in 1995. Then he created the children's series 'Dakar, o Minossauro', with scenarist Luís Diferr. Aside from these series, Abrantes has been working for the Portuguese 'Sesame Street' magazine, making illustrations and games.
