Jonathan Adams studied at Kentucky State University where he graduated in 1984 with a degree in hotel management. After several failed attempts at becoming the manager of a Holiday Inn, he decided to try his hand at comics. He created the comic series 'Superhim Comics Adventure Team' (later retitled 'Superhim and the Amerikan Fun Starters'), and was also the inker on the acclaimed 'Transvestigial Tales' published by Dark Moon Productions. He also had a brief stint ghost-writing for the romance comic 'Sucrose Sweety', but is probably best known for his creator owned series 'Truth Serum', which was published by SLG Publishing. 'Truth Serum' is currently out of print, and all remaining copies of the book have been destroyed. Adams now lives and works in Mechanicsville, Connecticut.
