Court Alderson

Court Alderson was born in Eldorado, Arkansas. He studied at the Chicago Academy of Fine Arts in 1927-28. He did political cartoons, science-fiction covers and commercial work. In 1950, he created the comic strip 'Travelin' Arkie', which was followed a year later by 'Sonny South'. The latter ran until 1972, and was signed "Al Sonders".
