A. E. Allen

A. E. Allen was a British comic book artist who worked through Linden Artists. He did his early comic book work for the magazines Marilyn and Roxy in the period 1951-1963. He subsequently contributed to Girls Crystal, School Friend, June and numerouw girls' comics by DC Thomson. One of his features was 'Barbie the Model Girl' in DC Thomson's Tina in 1967-68. Allen as also present in Bunty with series like 'The Land of Nowhere', 'Quackers' and 'Little Queen Bea'.
