Adrian Andronic is a Romanian press illustrator and comic artist. A graduate from the Institute of Architecture in Bucarest, he published his first drawings at the age of 18 in Scînteia Tineretului. He subsequently contributed drawings to nearly the entire national press. He also established himself as a comic book artist with the creation of the characters Tică, Rică and the extraterrestial Mus-a-Fir. He produced stories like 'Tică, Rică şi piraţii' (Urzica, 1964), 'Mus-a-Fir de pe planeta albastră' with scriptwriter Rodica Tott (Luminita, 1969) and 'Corabia de gheaţă' (Editions Ion Creanga, 1974).
He returned to comics in the 1990s with contributions to magazines like Mihaela ('Mia şi Fasolică'), Scaiul ('Ursul păcălit de vulpe'), Cotidianul Copiilor ('Tică, Rică şi piraţii') and Universul Bucureştilor (the economical strip 'Aventurile lui Goe'). In 2011 he published 'Corabia de gheaţă', 'Aventuri în Africa', 'Misterul din insulă' and 'Prietenii animalelor', a series of four educational comics, with publisher Evenimentul Zilei.
