From Eroica with Love, by Yasuko Aoike

Yasuko Aoike is a mangaka mainly active in the shone ai genre (girl's manga with "beautiful boy" love stories). She debuted in 1964 with 'Sayonara Nanetto', published in Ribbon. One of her most famous serials is 'From Eroica with Love', a spy manga in which the leading character is modelled on Led Zeppelin frontman Robert Plant. It was serialized by Akita Shoten from 1978 onwards. Aoike is also the author of several stand-alone mangas, mainly in the romance, adventure and light comedy genres.

Since 1999, Lambiek presents the Comiclopedia as a free service to comic fans from all over the world. The database has expanded to over 12,000 biographies of international comic artists, and also has an extensive Dutch section about comics in the Netherlands.
For 15 years, the site was funded from the resources of our Amsterdam-based shop. However, the current economical circumstances make it difficult for us to maintain this service.
