Jeremy Arambulo was born in Queens, grew up in Long Island, and studied graphic design at Boston University. After graduating, he landed a job as Art Production Assistant at Blue Sky Studios working on 'Ice Age'. He continued as a painter at The Danbury Mint, created storyboards for music videos, designed The Sleeping's albums: 'Believe What We Tell You' and 'Questions And Answers', and drew comic art for 'Styx Taxi', 'Siglo: Passion', and 'Lifemeter'. Arambulo works as a part-time graphic designer for a major audiobook company while drawing his ongoing minicomic series, 'Let's Do This'.

Since 1999, Lambiek presents the Comiclopedia as a free service to comic fans from all over the world. The database has expanded to over 12,000 biographies of international comic artists, and also has an extensive Dutch section about comics in the Netherlands.
For 15 years, the site was funded from the resources of our Amsterdam-based shop. However, the current economical circumstances make it difficult for us to maintain this service. At the moment the Comiclopedia's sole editor works for us free of charge, aided by a couple of (international) volunteers.
