Cuentos de la Alhambra (Tótem #45)
In addition to his work as an illustrator Joan Arocas has been an occasional comic artist. In 1973 he published in the tenth issue of Terror Gráfico as a result of a contest. In the early 1980s he published a few short stories in magazines Tótem, Búmerang and Blue Jeans of publisher Nueva Frontera, sometimes teaming up with writer Carlos Marco. In 1997 he contributed another short story to Círculo Andaluz de Tebeos. In 2003 he and writer Josep Millo published a longer comic, the book 'Abdul i l'espasa dels Montagut', written in Catalan.
