Asy

Asy (presumably a pseudonym, perhaps initials) was a humorous illustrator for Le Polichinelle, Le Pêle-Mêle and Nos Loisirs (1909). He made the comic 'L'Indélicat Puni' in Les Belles Images in 1910. In the following year, he joined the magazine Fillette, where he went to work in an art nouveau style.

For this magazine, he created comics like 'Les Aventures Extraordinaires et Stupéfiantes de la Princesse La-Zu-Li et de ses Compagnons', 'Kill le Nain' and 'Pomplius Pécari' until the 1920s. His works also appeared in La Jeunesse Illustrée (1912-35), Lili and Le Pantin.
