Antoine Aubin is an artist from Normandy. He works as a comic artist and illustrator for Hachette-Disney, among other clients. In 2004, he made the comic album 'Sur la Neige' with writer Wazem for Les Humanoïders Associés. In 2010 he teamed up with Jean van Hamme as one of the artists of 'Blake et Mortimer', completing the diptych that Van Hamme had started with the late René Sterne. 'L'Onde Septimus' ('The Septimus Wave'), his second book in the series, was published in 2013. It was written by Jean Dufaux and inked by Étienne Schréder, and formed a sequel to the classic Jacobs story 'La Marque Jaune' ('The Yellow "M").

Since 1999, Lambiek presents the Comiclopedia as a free service to comic fans from all over the world. The database has expanded to over 12,000 biographies of international comic artists, and also has an extensive Dutch section about comics in the Netherlands.
For 15 years, the site was funded from the resources of our Amsterdam-based shop. However, the current economical circumstances make it difficult for us to maintain this service. At the moment the Comiclopedia's sole editor works for us free of charge, aided by a couple of (international) volunteers.

If you want to help us continue and improve our ever- expanding database, we would appreciate your donation through Paypal.
