Universal War One, by Denis Bajram
Denis Bajram was born near Paris, where he took courses in Fine Arts and Decorative Arts. In 1987, Bajram joined the team of the Scarce fanzine, and from 1992, he was present in Goinfre, where he became editor-in-chief. Soon he illustrated for Hachette, worked at a studio with Mathieu Lauffray, and then met Thierry Cailleteau. With Cailleteau, Bajram created 'Cryozone', a story about zombies in two episodes, published by Delcourt in 1996 and 1998. At this time, Bajram joined Sanzot atelier in Angoulême, where he cooperated among others on the collective album 'Seuls les Vélos Volent'.

In 1998, he returned to Paris, where he began the Central Park studios, together with Mathieu Lauffray, Alex Alice and Patrick Fréon. At this point, he created the 'Universal War One' SF series, which is published by Soleil. Working as a scriptwriter, he cooperated with his wife Valérie Mangin on the scenarios of 'Mémoires Mortes', a series drawn by Lionel Chouin, and published by Les Humanoïdes Associés from 2000. In 2001, Bajram settled in Brussels, where he founded the Atelier Virtuel with his wife Valérie Mangin. Bajram draws his influences from artists like Mignola, Byrne, Giraud, Vatine and Uderzo.

With Cailleteau, Bajram created 'Cryozone' in 1998, a story about zombies in two parts. At this time, Bajram joined the team of the Sanzot studios. Bajram, who is influenced by artists as Mignola, Byrne, Giraud, Vatine and Uderzo, started the series 'Universal War One' that same year.
