After studying at the California Institute of Arts, Thomas Bancroft moved to Flordia to work for Walt Disney Feature Animation at the Disney/MGM Studios. Over the next 12 years Bancroft animated on such films as: 'Rescuers Down Under', 'Beauty and the Beast', 'The Lion King', 'Aladdin", 'Pocahontas', 'Mulan', 'Tarzan' and 'Atlantis'. In the beginning of 2000, Bancroft left Disney to work for Big Idea Productions, makers of "Veggietales", where he has produced character designs, concept art, computer animation, and storyboards. He has also drawn covers and pinups for the comic books 'Tellos', 'Danger Girl', 'Herobear and the Kid', and 'Intrigue'. Together with his partner Rob Corley, he founded the comic book publishing company Funnypages Press, which publishes titles like 'Opposite Forces' (by Bancroft), 'Hubie' (by Greg Hardin) and 'Boy Robo' (by Corley).
