Cees Bantzinger, a Dutch comic artist and illustrator, loved travelling, and made many journeys in Greece, Portugal and France, where he created several drawings. Although he is mainly known for his book illustrations, he also made comics, for instance 'Knobbel', which Bantzinger produced for the magazine De Narrenkap, during the second World War.
