Portuguese comic artist António Barata was one of the prominent comic providers for the magazine O Faísca (1943-1944). He used a fine, realistic touch in his various 'sword and cape' stories and his westerns. For his buccaneer stories, like 'Pedro o Gavião', he was greatly inspired by cinematic techniques. |
