Los Resucitados by Victor Barba
Los Resucitados

Víctor Barba Pizarro's early work included contributions to horror magazine Horus, portraits, caricatures, posters, illustrations and a fifteen-page story about karate which he wrote and drew. Then he received commissions to draw comics for Italy, Norway and Mexico. In 1979 he contributed to Spanish magazine Senda del Comic. He was one of the driving forces behind the comic Línea y Mancha with Isaac Del Rivero Jr. in 1983. Later on he teamed up with scriptwriter Oscaraibar and they did 'Los Resucitados', a six-chapter SF series. This appeared in Cimoc between 1992 and 1993. In the 1990s he also focused on comic adaptations of tales from local history.

Series and books by Víctor Barba in stock in the Lambiek Webshop:

Since 1999, Lambiek presents the Comiclopedia as a free service to comic fans from all over the world. The database has expanded to over 12,000 biographies of international comic artists, and also has an extensive Dutch section about comics in the Netherlands.
For 15 years, the site was funded from the resources of our Amsterdam-based shop. However, the current economical circumstances make it difficult for us to maintain this service. At the moment the Comiclopedia's sole editor works for us free of charge, aided by a couple of (international) volunteers.

If you want to help us continue and improve our ever- expanding database, we would appreciate your donation through Paypal.
