Notre Dame #1
Jean Bastide was born in Aldi. He studied in France before heading to Brussels, Belgium, to enroll at the Saint-Luc Art Institute in 2004. His first break in the field of comics was working with Bernard Yslaire and Vincent Mézil on the 'Hugo & Iris' installments in the 'La Guerre des Sambre' collection between 2005 and 2009. He then teamed up with Robin Recht to create a trilogy based on Victor Hugo's 'Notre Dame de Paris' novel. The first book was published by Glénat in 2012.
