Slapeloosheid (P@per 22, 2014)

Dinesh van den Berg is a Dutch graphic artist, illustrator and comic artist. Born in Mexico City, he attended the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in The Hague, and had an internship with Het Stripschap, the Dutch comics association (2010-2011). He has remained a volunteer audio visual aid and graphic designer afterwards.

Van den Berg has worked as an illustrator/designer on projects like 'Cephalopod' games, and has published his comics through Windmill-Comics since 2011. These include fantasy titles like 'UC Masters' and 'Einherjar' in cooperation with Victor Kruithof. He has also made short stories for Hip Comix and Shock, and his work was featured in the Flemish comics magazine P@per.

Since 1999, Lambiek presents the Comiclopedia as a free service to comic fans from all over the world. The database has expanded to over 12,000 biographies of international comic artists, and also has an extensive Dutch section about comics in the Netherlands.
For 15 years, the site was funded from the resources of our Amsterdam-based shop. However, the current economical circumstances make it difficult for us to maintain this service. At the moment the Comiclopedia's sole editor works for us free of charge, aided by a couple of (international) volunteers.
