Jano incopore sano (El Jueves 1867, 2013)

José Antonio Bernal is a comic artist and sports cartoonist, originally from Zaragoza. He began his career as a topical cartoonist with the Heraldo de Aragón and the daily sports paper Equipo. He later also contributed to magazines like Zaracómic, Capúzate, Buenafuente, Malavida, Web Negre and Amaniaco.

Bernal draws the cartoon series 'Cai Balonmano Aragón' for Territorio Naranja since 2007, and also contributes the series 'Fora de Xogo' to Retranca since the following year. He is furthermore a cartoonist for the monthly Panenka and the artist of 'Jano incopore sano' in El Jueves. He is one of the scriptwriters for the Aragón TV show 'En el Fondo Norte'.

Since 1999, Lambiek presents the Comiclopedia as a free service to comic fans from all over the world. The database has expanded to over 12,000 biographies of international comic artists, and also has an extensive Dutch section about comics in the Netherlands.
For 15 years, the site was funded from the resources of our Amsterdam-based shop. However, the current economical circumstances make it difficult for us to maintain this service.
