Comic strip from Atze.
Hans Betcke was a comic artist from the eastern part of Germany. He was a colleague of Jürgen Kieser, with whom he worked at publisher Junge Welt. He did a lot of illustrations and comic work for children's magazines Atze, Trommel and Frösi. Hans Betcke was born in 1919 in Königsberg and passed away in 1992 in Berlin.
