Born in Suresnes, André Bibeur-Lu studied Fine Arts in Angers and Angoulême. He eventually settled in Angers as a freelance artist. He published his first comics in the magazine Le Banni in 1987. He cooperated on Almanach Vermot for several years from 1989. At this time, he created his 'Précis d'Humour Faible', that was first collected in book format by Orphéograff in 1997 and later by Éditions Tricycle in 2000. |

His book 'Plat de côte' was published by Georges Morvier in 1998. In 2001, he created 'Tartines de Courant d'Air' with text by Pascal Rabaté at Vents d'Ouest. These were followed by 'Les aventures de Toutacier, l'escargot en tôle' (text by Fabien Sabates, Editions Citropolis, 2002), 'Pierre Palmade' (text by Pierre Palmade, Editions Jungle, 2007) and 'Satori en province' (text by Christophe Lemoine, Editions Les Enfants Rouges, 2010). He has additionally worked as an illustrator for Le Journal de Mickey, Super Picsou Géant, and Mickey jeux, as well as Le Trégor and Le Télégramme. |
