Emily Blair

Emily Blair is the creator of the comics 'Soap Opera' (2003), about two friends who bonded over soap opera's, and 'Living Statues' (2006), a story about becoming enslaved to memory. She has been awarded a New York Foundation of the Arts Fellowship in Fiction and a Xeric Foundation Self-Publishing Grant. Blair received her MFA from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and lives and works in Brooklyn. Her work has been exhibited widely nationally and internationally.
