Aventuras de Lalitas, by Pili Blasco

Pili Blasco is the third of the Blasco siblings (among which Jesús Blasco is the most famous). She began her career in comics in the 1940s, drawing for the magazine Mis Chicas. For this girls magazine, she drew among others 'La Vida de Quique', 'El Castillo de Oro', 'La Feota Chiquitina', 'Historias de Insectos' and several stories with the 'Mariló' character. She also contributed to Chicos, the weekly run by Consuelo Gil of which Mis Chicas was subsidiary. She created the 'Lalita' character for Florita Magazine. In addition she worked for publishers Augusta and Gilsa. By the 1960s Pili Blasco was no longer working on comics whereas her three brothers stablished themselves as a team.

Series and books by Pili Blasco in stock in the Lambiek Webshop:

Since 1999, Lambiek presents the Comiclopedia as a free service to comic fans from all over the world. The database has expanded to over 12,000 biographies of international comic artists, and also has an extensive Dutch section about comics in the Netherlands.
For 15 years, the site was funded from the resources of our Amsterdam-based shop. However, the current economical circumstances make it difficult for us to maintain this service. At the moment the Comiclopedia's sole editor works for us free of charge, aided by a couple of (international) volunteers.

If you want to help us continue and improve our ever- expanding database, we would appreciate your donation through Paypal.
