Aleksandar Bojinov was one of Bulgaria's pioneering cartoonists and comic artists. He has lived and worked in Miunhen. He made many cheerful pictures with verse, in the same fasion as 'Max und Moritz'. Among his works are 'Bulgaran' (1904) and the comic-like book 'Azbuka za Malkite' ('Alphabet for Children').
