Claude Bordet was born in Givors, and attended the School of Fine Arts in Lyon from 1936 to 1939. In 1941, he was illustrator for the magazine Louveteau, and was subsequently working for the magazines of the Fleurus group, including Coeurs Vaillants. After the War, he was a member of Studio Chott, drawing among others 'Big Bill le Casseur' (1947). In 1952, he joined the publishing house Impéria, where he produced stories with originally British heroes like 'Tex Tone', 'Jim Canada' and 'Buck John'. |
