Giovanni Sforza Boselli was a comics artist, illustrator and animator, born in Africa, in the then-Italian colony of Eritrea. His family moved to Italy when Boselli was 10, where he began his art studies. Working in the humorous genre, Boselli worked for Il Giornalino from 1969, doing the series 'Susy la Rossa'. A year later, he began 'Gec Sparaspara' with scripts by Mario Basari. |

In the 1970s, he came up with 'Bellocchio e Leccamuffo' with scripts by Corrado Blasetti and 'Il Signor Beniamino' on his own texts. In the 1980s, he drew 'Dodo & Cocco', still for Il Giornalino. Another creation by Boselli is 'Joe Felix'. He has also illustrated children's books. |
