from Mormoil, by Michel Bridenne

Michel Bridenne was 24 years old when he started his first cooperation with the magazine Pilote. From 1970 his cartoons and illustrations have appeared in magazines such as L'Echo des Savanes, VSD, Le Point and Télérama. His sharp and quick style has been used in several television series, most notably 'Droit de Réponse', shown on the French channel TF1. In 1991 Michel Bridenne became an international acclaimed artist with his 'Saison des Amours', selling copies in Japan, the US and all over Europe. In 1996 he teamed up with Michel Serre to create 'Faites vos Jeux', an album with gags about the Olympics.

Series and books by Michel Bridenne in stock in the Lambiek Webshop:

Since 1999, Lambiek presents the Comiclopedia as a free service to comic fans from all over the world. The database has expanded to over 12,000 biographies of international comic artists, and also has an extensive Dutch section about comics in the Netherlands.
For 15 years, the site was funded from the resources of our Amsterdam-based shop. However, the current economical circumstances make it difficult for us to maintain this service. At the moment the Comiclopedia's sole editor works for us free of charge, aided by a couple of (international) volunteers.

If you want to help us continue and improve our ever- expanding database, we would appreciate your donation through Paypal.
