Kazanda, by Ted Brodie-Mack

Ted Brodie-Mack was born in Wellington, New Zealand in 1897. When he was eighteen, he became a cartoonist for the New Zealand Freelance. He worked as a theatrical agent, and returned as a comic artist in 1919, when he started working for The Bulletin and Smith's Weekly. He drew sports- and politcial cartoons for the Sydney Truth, and then joined Consolidated Press, where he stayed for twenty-six years. There he drew for 'Gigglywinks' and the comic series 'Kazanda' (written by Peter Amos - pseudonym of Archie E. Martin).
