Daniel van den Broek is a self-taught comic book artist and illustrator from Den Helder. His comic strip 'Viktor & Frenky' was published in Myx, the Belgian magazine Plots and Stripnieuws. A book collection was released by Treegarden Comix in 2009. Van den Broek is one of the artists for the 'Jan, Jans en de Kinderen' comic in Libelle since late 2008. In 2010, he started the spin-off 'Rode Kater' strip in the newspaper Spits with scriptwriter Eric Hercules. |

With Herman Roozen, he created the series 'Uuterwaerdt' in Eppo, also in 2010. Van den Broek has also worked with Ivan Claeys on the comic 'Rick Turpin', that has appeared in P@per and in Eppo. In addition, he has designed wishing cards for Hallmark, La Carterie and Fun Industries. He has illustrated schoolbooks for Unieboek. |
