Patrick Cadot was an artist of several series for Tintin magazine between 1983 and 1993. Prior to this, he wrote and drew mini-books starring 'Les Jumeaux' for Spirou between 1980 and 1983. At Tintin, he began a steady collaboration with scenarist Bom. They started out with 'Rascaille et Flodalcol', a series that was replaced by the children's comic 'Yvain et Yvon' in 1985. Four books were published by Le Lombard between 1987 and 1989, and the series also ran in the German magazine YPS.
By 1986, they also began the gag series about the cat 'Chaffoux'. Cadot teamed up with writer Richelle in 1990 to create 'Jordan' and from 1991 he drew the gag series about the bird 'Arpo' with scripts by Debaty.
