Carlos Caloca Valle was a Mexican comic artist, who began his career as a caricaturist. In 1929 he and writer Guillén created the comic strip about a boy and and police officer called 'Cerillo y Capulina'. The strip's phrase "Muévete Capulina!" ("Move Capulina!") became popular in Mexican language. Caloca was hired by newspaper El Universal to draw comic adaptations of 'Sinbad the Sailor' and 'Aladdin' in 1945.
