Derek Carter

Derek Carter was an artist of alternative Canadian comics. He started out as a fan artist in the Toronto area in the 1960s. He illustrated the science-fiction comic 'Operation Missile' in 1968, which was one of the first publications in the Canadian underground scene. More a fan artist than an underground artist, he also published in the periodical Andromeda.
