Paul Cauuet grew up with a father who was an artist and comics collector. Soon, Paul was fascinated by comics as well, and went to study Plastic Arts. He took courses in comics by Régis Loisel, where he met Guillaume Clavery. With Clavery as his scenarist, Cauuet made his comics debut with the series 'Aster' at Delcourt in 2003.
