Antonio Cedraz published his first works with publishers from São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro. In Salvador, his work was published in the main periodicals of the Bahian capitol, such as A Tarde, Tribuna de Bahia, and Jornal de Bahia. He is best known for his character 'Xaxado', but he has also created characters like 'Lúbio', 'Turma do Joinha', 'Turma do Pipoca' and 'Guris & Cia', which were printed by publishers from São Paula (Nova Sampa, Press Editorial, Escala), Rio de Janeiro (Editora Cedibra), and Curitiba (Editora Grafitti). Cedraz' work has also been published in Cuba, Portugal and Angola.

Since 1999, Lambiek presents the Comiclopedia as a free service to comic fans from all over the world. The database has expanded to over
12,000 biographies of international comic artists, and also has an extensive Dutch section about comics in the Netherlands.
For 15 years, the site was funded from the resources of our Amsterdam-based shop. However, the current economical circumstances make it difficult for us to maintain this service. At the moment the Comiclopedia's sole editor works for us free of charge, aided by a couple of (international) volunteers.
