Arent Christensen was an early Norwegian comics artist. He cooperated with Christian Haugen on several exciting adverture and science-fiction comics, mostly based on Haugen's novels. They created the science-fiction series 'Reisen til Ken' (1933) and 'Den Tause Verden' (1935) in Arbeidersmagasinet. They also created 'Greske Guder og Heltesagn' in 1938. In 1936, Christensen illustrated 'Det Evige Lands Ild' with text by Trygve Hjorth-Johansen in Trygve Deinboll. |
