Fabio Civitelli began his comics career at Graziano Origa's studios, doing 'Lady Dust'. He also worked for Dardo, Edifumetto and Ediperiodici. He joined Universo in 1977, where he took on among others the 'Doctor Salomon' series. After some work with the Marvel characters 'Spider-Man' and the 'Fantastic Four', Civitelli began working for Sergio Bonelli publishers. There, he illustrated 'Mister No' from 1979 and 'Pomeriggio Cubano' in Orient Express magazine in 1983. He joined the staff of 'Tex' in 1984.
