Double assassinat dans la rue Morgue
Claude Voirriot is a self-taught comic artist. He works under the penname Clod and has published his first book, 'La Tonne' with Amicale des amis in 1997 (script by Serge Guerinet). He draws his inspiration from literary writers like Kafka, whose 'Le Procès' he has also adapted to the comics format with Céka (Akileos, 2006). With the same writer, he has subsequently made the Edgar Allen Poe adaptation 'Double assassinat dans la rue Morgue' (Akileos, 2007)
Le Procès
For Petit à Petit, he has participated in colletive books with comic adaptations of poems and songtexts by Prévert, Baudelaire, Verlaine, Guy de Maupassant, Serge Gainsbourg and Rimbaud, among other writers. With Benoît Frébourg, he has made 'Les Carnets de Georg Weiss', also for Petit à Petit.
