Alain Corbel

Alain Corbel studied at Sint-Lukas in Brussels, where he met Éric Lambé, Nathalie Dourov and Denis Larue. Together, they formed Mokka, a group of artists who sought different approaches of storytelling in comics. Corbel moved to Lisbon, Portugal, where he lives and works as a comic artist and illustrator. He collaborated with Pedro Rosa Mendes on 'Ilhas do Fogo'. Alain Corbel's work has been published by Amok, l'Association and Fréon.
