A member of the Comicup Studio, Mario Cortes has illustrated comic adaptations of Disney films for Disney Europe since the mid-1990s. He has done among others modernized adaptations of 'The Aristocats', 'Sleeping Beauty', 'Cinderella', and 'Peter Pan', as well as the official adaptations of 'Beauty and the Beast', 'Hercules', 'Mulan' and 'Tarzan'. Cortes has also illustrated several 'Talespin' stories for Le Journal de Mickey.
