El Cosaco Verde

Fernando Costa is a Catalan comic artist who began his career drawing humorous comics for publications like TBO in 1954. He subsequently drew stories with 'El Inspector Dan' for Intrepido, 17 issues of 'Aventuras de dos Muchachos y un Automóvil' with scripwriter Dulcet for publisher Toray, and many issues of 'Tres Hadas' for publisher Indedi. For the publishing house Mateu, he illustrated serials like 'Los Vikingos' and 'Vuelta al Mndo de dos Chavales'.

Fernando Costa is best known as the artist of 'El Cosaco Verde'. The 144 issue collection was published by Bruguera between 1960 and 1963. The scripts were by Víctor Mora who used his pseudonym R. Roldán. Afterwards, he drew 'El Jabato' in El Capitán Trueno Extra.
