Wood Cowan from Iowa worked on several comic and cartoon features during the 1920s through the 1940s, including 'Vivian the Vamp' (1924-1926), 'Them Were the Days' (1926-1927), 'Mom'n'Pop' (1932), 'Oh, Diana' (1948), 'Our Boarding House' (1946) and 'Sissy' (1945-46). He also drew for comic books like 'Gabby Goose' and the wartime propaganda title 'The United States Marines'. |
