Didier Crisse is a Belgian comic artist specialized in heroid fantasy. Born Didier Chrispeels in Brussels, Crisse published his first work in Curiosity Magazine in 1978. A year later, he made 'Océan's Kings' for Spirou, before creating 'Nahomi' in Tintin with Bom from 1980 to 1987. |

In addition, he started working in the realistic genre for the publishing house Vents d'Ouest with 'Les Ombres du Passée' (1986) with scenario writer Natacha. This was followed by the heroic fantasy series 'l'Épée de Cristal' (1989-95) and 'Lorette et Harpye' (1993-97) from scripts by Jacky Goupil. Crisse illustrated 'Cosmos Milady' with text by Jean-Claude de la Royère for P&T Productions in 1993. |

Vents d'Ouest then published Crisse's fantasy detective 'Perdita Queen' in 1995. They same year, he was present in Gotham with the gag strip 'Ghost Town'. He began an association with Soleil Productions in 1996, where he launched series like 'Kookaburra' (1997-2008), 'Atalante' (2000-09) and 'Ishanti - Danseuse sacrée' (2005). He left the artwork of 'Kookaburra' to Nicolas Mitric in 2004 and was also involved in the launch of several 'Kookabura' spin-offs, such as 'Kookaburra Universe' and 'Kookaburra K'. |

Crisse has also worked as a scriptwriter and created series like 'Griffin Dark' with Stanley (1997), 'Petit d'Homme' with Marc N'Guessan (1996-2003), 'Private Ghost' with Serge Carrère (2001-04), 'Les Ailes du Phaeton' with Serge Fino (1998-2000), 'Luuna' with Nicolas Kéramidas (2002-11), 'Cañari' with Carlos Meglia (2005-07), 'Thaluula' with Ood Serrière and 'Contessa' with Herval (2011). |
