El Maravilloso Viaje de Ivan (Pocholo, 1936)
Catalan artist Luis D'Oc was active as a comic artist in Spain during the 1930s and 1940s. He contributed to El Coyote, En Patufet, L'Avant, Lecturas, Nicolás ('Las Tribulaciones de Don Cholo') and Pocholo. He was artistic director of the publishing house Gerpla/Cisne, for which he was a versatile illustrator of trading cards. In the early 1940s he drew series like 'Hurracán, el Piloto Fantasma' and 'Miguel Strogoff' for Ediciones Cliper. He later emigrated to South-America.
