George Davey was one of the early comic artists in Britain. He drew for magazine Lot-o'-Fun, where he published the comic 'Dreamy Daniel', about a loveable bum. This figure became so popular that it was brought to life by Music Hall actor Harry Rogerson. George Davey had the two meet each other in Lot-o'-Fun on 24 October 1908. |
