Giuseppe De Facendis began his comics career at the age of 20. He started out working for Italian publishers, illustrating series like 'Qui Commissario Norton'. He moved to Germany when he married a German girl, and began a collaboration with the Pabel Verlag. De Facendis illustrated stories with Rolf Kauka's 'Fix und Foxi' and wrote dozens of scripts with the characters. He eventually returned to Italy, but he remained active for Pabel. He has also been working as an inker for Disney.
