Don Dean was an assistant artist on the 'Big Chief Wahoo' daily and Sunday strips for Publishers Syndicate. He then did a feature called 'Senor Siesta' for Archie Comics in 1942-44, as well as some covers. Then in 1945, he began the 'Cranberry Boggs' newspaper strip (daily and Sunday), which he wrote and drew until 1949. |
