Paperino, by Sandro Del Conte

Sandro Del Conte is an artist of the Italian Disney production. He started out working for Mondadori in 1973 as the inker of Romano Scarpa. From 1977, he also began doing pencils. Del Conte illustrated several 'Duck' and 'Mouse' stories for Topolino and the other Italian publications. He still did an occasional collaboration with Scarpa, such as the 'Paperolimpiadi' mini-series (inking in cooperation with Maurizio Amendola, Luciano Gatto and Valerio Held). Del Conte has nearly worked non-stop in Disney comics, with the exception of the period 1980-1984, when he drew for the German Fix und Foxi (Kauka Verlag).

Series and books by Sandro Del Conte in stock in the Lambiek Webshop:

Since 1999, Lambiek presents the Comiclopedia as a free service to comic fans from all over the world. The database has expanded to over 12,000 biographies of international comic artists, and also has an extensive Dutch section about comics in the Netherlands.
For 15 years, the site was funded from the resources of our Amsterdam-based shop. However, the current economical circumstances make it difficult for us to maintain this service. At the moment the Comiclopedia's sole editor works for us free of charge, aided by a couple of (international) volunteers.

If you want to help us continue and improve our ever- expanding database, we would appreciate your donation through Paypal.
