Goran Delic is a Yugoslavian artist, who has worked for Northern-American and European publishers. He graduated from the School of Applied Arts in Zagreb, Croatia. From 1984 to 1987, he made the graphic novel 'Smoggy Boy', which was published in Germany, Italy, France, Spain and Denmark. For the US company Continuity, he made 'Starrat' in Echo of Futurepast in 1987. Delic has done illustrations for domestic and foreign magazines and newspapers, and was art director of an independent television station in 1990-91. In 1994, he made 'The Mask: Souther Discomfort' for Dark Horse Comics. During the 1990s, he was present at Image Comics with 'Pitt' and 'Superhero Story'. From 1992 to 2003, he was conceptual artist and senior production designer for Nelvana Ltd. Toronto.

Since 1999, Lambiek presents the Comiclopedia as a free service to comic fans from all over the world. The database has expanded to over
12,000 biographies of international comic artists, and also has an extensive Dutch section about comics in the Netherlands.
For 15 years, the site was funded from the resources of our Amsterdam-based shop. However, the current economical circumstances make it difficult for us to maintain this service. At the moment the Comiclopedia's sole editor works for us free of charge, aided by a couple of (international) volunteers.
