
Born in Marseille, Mathilde Domecq studied Applied Arts at the Lycée Marie Curie. She then went to Strasbourg to study Decorative Arts, and she graduated in Illustration in 2005.

Domecq did her first comics work for the juvenile press, contributing to Pif Gadget ('Mission Saturne' with Herlé) and Glop-Glop ('Poï-Poï & Tito'). She created the series 'Basile & Melba' for the publishing house Glénat. It is published in Tchô! magazine and in a series of albums since 2008.
