Mystères du Cosmos, by Duc

Duc is a pseudonym for Bernard Ducourant. In the late 1960s and begin 1970s he illustrated some comics for the magazines Spirou and Pif. In Spirou, he drew the series 'Mystères du Cosmos' from 1969 to 1972. For Pif, he created the series 'Les Baladins', about a group of travelling actors in the Middle Ages (1969-1970). He has also drawn for the vertical daily strips 'Le Crime ne Paie Pas' by Paul Gordeaux, that appeared in France-Soir. Bernard Ducourant is also the author of two books about drawing comics, 'L'Art de la BD', published by Glénat in the early 1980s. These courses were first published in Gomme magazine.

Series and books by Duc in stock in the Lambiek Webshop:

Since 1999, Lambiek presents the Comiclopedia as a free service to comic fans from all over the world. The database has expanded to over 12,000 biographies of international comic artists, and also has an extensive Dutch section about comics in the Netherlands.
For 15 years, the site was funded from the resources of our Amsterdam-based shop. However, the current economical circumstances make it difficult for us to maintain this service. At the moment the Comiclopedia's sole editor works for us free of charge, aided by a couple of (international) volunteers.

If you want to help us continue and improve our ever- expanding database, we would appreciate your donation through Paypal.
