Kid Blastoff by Sarah Dyer
Kid Blastoff #1 (June 1996)

Sarah Dyer was born in Louisiana, and eventually settled in New York City. She began her career in the fanzine scene of the 1990s. She created the Action Girl Newsletter in 1992, in which she reviewed and listed the mini-comics and fanzines created by female comic artists. In 1995, she launched 'Action Girl Comics', a comic anthology to showcase the work of women who were putting out their own comics. She has worked with her husband Evan Dorkin on series like 'Kid Blastoff' and 'Biff Bam Pow!', and on the scripts of TV series like 'Space Ghost Coast to Coast', 'Superman Adventures' and 'Batman Beyond'.

Series and books by Sarah Dyer in stock in the Lambiek Webshop:

Since 1999, Lambiek presents the Comiclopedia as a free service to comic fans from all over the world. The database has expanded to over 12,000 biographies of international comic artists, and also has an extensive Dutch section about comics in the Netherlands.
For 15 years, the site was funded from the resources of our Amsterdam-based shop. However, the current economical circumstances make it difficult for us to maintain this service. At the moment the Comiclopedia's sole editor works for us free of charge, aided by a couple of (international) volunteers.

If you want to help us continue and improve our ever- expanding database, we would appreciate your donation through Paypal.
